Job summary

Bally’s Intralot is seeking a Computer Operator to support tier 1 monitoring, data entry and basic troubleshooting on the night shift. This entry level role involves monitoring IBM AIX, Windows and Linux servers and using Intralot software applications under supervision.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Computer Science, IT, or similar field; one year related experience, Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Ability to acquire proficiency in new software applications and troubleshoot issues.
• Knowledge of MS Excel and Word; familiarity with operating systems and networking.
• Willingness to work a rotating night shift including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical monitoring support for systems and operate proprietary Intralot software.
• Monitor system processes via alert software and manage a cluster of IBM AIX servers for transactions.
• Support Windows servers hosting web applications and Linux servers hosting Intralot software.
• Other duties as assigned under supervision.

The Intralot Computer Operator role is considered at its core as an entry level position that focuses on tier 1 monitoring support, data entry, low level equipment troubleshooting assistance, and malfunction escalation of various systems. What you bring:

Education, Training and Experience

• Associates degree in Computer Science, IT, or similar field, and one (1) year related experience, Bachelor’s degree preferred; or equivalent combination of training and experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Ability to acquire proficiency in new software applications
• Problem solving and troubleshooting skills
• Knowledge of MS Excel and Word
• Knowledge of operating systems, including AIX, Windows and Linux

• Ability to work a rotating shift including nights and weekends
