Job description

Position Overview:

As a Computer Operations Analyst, you will be part of a team that reports to the C2BMC Watch Officer (CWO). Your main responsibilities will include daily system monitoring, operations, and maintenance of the C2BMC systems in a 24x7 operations and test environment. You will also provide first-level technical support to the warfighter and perform initial troubleshooting of all local C2BMC hardware, software, and networks.

Essential Functions:

1. Document and report all events/issues to the CWO and receive tasking and direction from the CCC for all operations, tests & real-world events.
2. Assist in all hardware/software installations directed by the local SMEs and create and maintain user accounts as directed by the local ISSO.
3. Operate and sustain the C2BMC mission systems and/or training systems environment for operational and training missions supported by C2BMC's presence in the Missile Defense Integration & Operations Center (MDIOC).
4. Support training systems by operating the Distributed Training System (DTS) Control Center (DCC) to train, qualify, certify, and maintain Warfighter proficiency at operating locations.

Basic Qualifications:

1. An active Secret clearance is required to start with the ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance.
2. 2 years with a Bachelor's degree in a related field; 6 years experience in lieu of a degree.
3. Must possess a DoD 8140 certification at IAT Level II or higher (Security+, GSEC, SCNP, SSCP, CISSP, CISA, GSE, SCNA).
4. Experience operating and maintaining large-scale computer and communications systems/networking environments.
5. Experience in system and/or network administration that includes UNIX, Linux, Windows, Cisco, and Juniper.
6. Experience in troubleshooting hardware and software components.
7. Requires rotating 24x7 shift work. The candidate will be assigned to a shift, and mission requirements will determine the assignment (Ops or Training). Some substitute rotation during off-shifts, including nights and weekends, will be required.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Active TS/SCI clearance is highly desired.
2. Experience and knowledge of C2BMC Systems or Missile Defense Systems.
