Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 0-1 years of experience as a computer hardware technician or similar role.
• 1-2 years professional work experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel & Word) is expected.
• Must pass background check and drug screening.
• Hands-on hardware troubleshooting experience.
• Able to read and understand technical manuals and OEM guides.
• Strong problem-solving and reliability in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair hardware and peripheral devices.
• Identify, troubleshoot and repair computer hardware and server problems.
• Accurately document hardware failures, repairs, installations and removals.
• Set up hardware and install/configure software and drivers.
• Provide technical assistance and resolution as needed.
• Set up new computer systems and perform routine maintenance.
• Test repaired hardware to confirm repair success.
• Assist with other duties as assigned.

Job SummaryThis position is responsible for performing hardware repairs on desk top computers, laptops, panel monitors, servers, printers, cell phones, tablets, point of sale devices, network switches and a variety of other technical devices. Frequent holding and grasping with the hands when loading and unloading products.Duties will require the ability to routinely lift 20 lbs., and occasionally greater than 35 lbs. and/or move objects that weigh more than 45lbs.Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus.Exposure to bright lights, extreme temperatures, loud noise, dust or odor.
