Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a hardware technician to repair desktops, laptops, servers, POS devices, and related equipment. The role includes building or configuring new hardware, installing software, and maintaining networks as needed.

Responsibilities focus on fault diagnosis, documentation, and performing routine maintenance in a warehouse environment. The candidate should have up to two years of related experience and strong problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 0-1 years of experience as a computer hardware technician or similar role.
• 1-2 years professional work experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel & Word) is expected.
• Must pass background check and drug screening.
• Hands-on hardware troubleshooting experience.
• Able to read and understand technical manuals and OEM guides.
• Strong problem-solving and reliability in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair hardware and peripheral devices.
• Identify, troubleshoot and repair computer hardware and server problems.
• Accurately document hardware failures, repairs, installations and removals.
• Set up hardware and install/configure software and drivers.
• Provide technical assistance and resolution as needed.
• Set up new computer systems and perform routine maintenance.
• Test repaired hardware to confirm repair success.
• Assist with other duties as assigned.
