Job summary

Apex International in Minnesota seeks a Compounder Supervisor to lead the mixing of raw ingredients and oversee compounding operations for OTC, personal care, and household products. You will supervise the compounding team, ensure safety, quality, and on-time production, and drive continuous improvements on the production floor.

You will manage SOPs and GMP compliance, maintain lean practices, 5-S, and daily metrics, and coordinate with pre-weigh.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising compounding operations in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong knowledge of GMP and SOP compliance.
• Ability to implement lean tools and 5-S on the production floor.
• Proven leadership and team development skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production of customer orders to meet the schedule while achieving safety, quality, and cost objectives.
• Ensure batches are prioritized, and equipment is cleaned and ready for scheduled batches.
• Enforce all SOPs and GMPs and coordinate with Pre-weigh to attach procedures to batches.
• Maintain lean culture and daily improvement initiatives, monitor metrics, and drive improvements.
