Job summary

Voyant Beauty is seeking a Compounding Supervisor to oversee all compounding operations for new and existing products. This role ensures GMP/FDA compliance, manages pre-weighing and material handling, and drives continuous improvement to meet production schedules and quality standards.

Leadership of staff across shifts, strict attention to safety, and collaboration with QA are essential for success in a fast-paced cosmetics manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience leading cosmetic or personal care manufacturing teams is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GMP, FDA guidelines, and SOPs as they relate to compounding.
• Experience with hazardous materials safety protocols and inventory control is preferred.
• Ability to drive process improvements and implement corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all compounding activities for new and existing products.
• Manage pre-weighing, material handling, and batch execution.
• Ensure documentation complies with GMPs, SOPs, and FDA standards.
• Lead staff across shifts and train team members on safety and processes.
• Investigate batching errors with QA to prevent recurrence and optimize workflows.
• Maintain inventory of equipment, materials, and safety supplies.
• Review time and attendance, approve overtime, and plan tasks.
• Drive continuous improvement to enhance compounding capability and productivity.
