Job summary

Apex International in Minnesota seeks a Compounder Supervisor to manage daily compounding operations, ensuring safe, on-time production of OTC, personal care, and household products. You will oversee tanks, transfers, sanitation, and batch verification to meet quality standards.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of supervisor experience in manufacturing, knowledge of chemical handling, and strong computer skills; a forklift license is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of supervisor experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 4 year college degree is preferred but not required.
• Familiar with operation of mixing tanks, pumps and all material handling equipment.
• Sanitation process experience.
• In depth knowledge of chemical handling and processing.
• Strong computer skills are essential.
• Forklift license is required and must be maintained.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production to meet schedules while achieving safety, quality, and cost objectives.
• Prioritize batches to satisfy production schedules.
• Ensure equipment is cleaned and ready for scheduled batches.
• Investigate and follow up on batch delays.
• Review final batches and perform necessary kitting.
• Maintain floor presence to motivate and ensure success.
• Participate in safety initiatives and lean improvements.
• Oversee compounding, transfer, cleaning and sanitizing processes.
• Ensure SOPs and GMPs are followed.
• Coordinate with Pre-weigh to attach procedures to batches.
• Maintain up-to-date compounding visual flow boards.
• Support data collection to drive metric improvements.
