H-E-B's San Antonio-based pharmacy team is seeking a Compounding Pharmacy Care Rep to deliver accurate, efficient service while keeping the department clean and well-stocked. You will assist customers, verify prescriptions, and support the pharmacy in everyday operations.

The role emphasizes patient counseling, compliance with HIPAA and state regulations, and collaboration with teammates to ensure on-time compound orders and smooth patient pickup or delivery.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a retail environment
• Pharmacy experience preferred
• Experience in new item cut-ins, refresh process, and reviewing plan-o-grams for accuracy

Responsibilities

• Receives prescriptions; processes in RxEVO and verifies patient information
• Reviews patient preferences notes on compound prescriptions
• Educates patients on compounded prescriptions, cost, and delivery/pickup options
• Reviews current and future compound orders to ensure on-time delivery and correct location
• Generates prescription paperwork and files hard copies
• Maintains Will-Call area and processes transactions at register
• Ensures patient counseling per HIPAA and SOPs
• Manages inventory and stocking; ensures products are fresh and correctly labeled
• Maintains data entry accuracy and adheres to safety procedures
