Job summary

H-E-B Pharmacy is seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join our team in a fast-paced retail environment. You will assist in prescription processing, verify patient information, and support immunization scheduling and screening events while delivering accurate, friendly service.

You will maintain equipment, manage inventory, ensure HIPAA privacy, follow SOPs, and partner with pharmacists to ensure efficient operations across our pharmacy operations.

Qualifications

• 18+ years old required.
• 3+ years pharmacy experience preferred.
• 1+ year active retail Certified Pharmacy Technician experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service and adhere to service standards.
• Process prescriptions and verify patient information using RxEVO.
• Coordinate immunization and screening activities as needed.
• Manage inventory, vendor orders, and daily invoices.
• Maintain automated prescription processing equipment and troubleshoot as needed.
• Ensure PHI privacy and HIPAA compliance.
• Support Pharmacy Manager with operational tasks and 5-S compliance.
