Advanced Powder Products, Inc. in Philipsburg, PA, is seeking a detail-oriented Manufacturing Operator to join our growing team. You will operate presses, injection molding and compounding equipment, measure and weigh components, and support production plans in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate manufacturing equipment, presses, injection molding, compounding and hand tools.
• Work flexibly across departments, starting in the compounding home department.
• Carefully measure and weigh powder components for batching of compounding mix.
• Operate, clean and maintain compounding equipment.
• Understand production plan and contribute to feeding stock.
• Maintain safe and clean work environment and meet quality standards.
• Complete production records and follow ISO13485 and ISO 9001 guidelines.
• Overtime as needed and follow instructions.

Job Characteristics

Job Responsibilities

• Operate manufacturing equipment, presses, injection molding machine , compounding, hand tools, etc.
• Operators must be flexible to work in various departments. The home department for this position will be compounding.
• Carefully measure and weigh powder components for batching of compounding mix
• Operate, clean and maintain compounding equipment
• Understand production plan and produce feedstock to support the plan
• Complete appropriate production forms and records as directed
• Maintain safe and clean work environment - Clean equipment, production and work area
• Responsible for quality of work
• Perform preventative maintenance as required
• Complete assigned tasks on time and to required specification(s)
• Handle material as directed to ensure an uninterrupted flow of work
• Advise on better means to complete the functions within the job and continually improve the operation
• Perform additional duties within the broad scope of the job
• Work performed in a manufacturing environment.
• No travel requirements
• Follow the standards of ISO13485 and ISO 9001 International Standards
• Measure products using calipers, microscopes, etc.
• Work at different workstations as required, or shift from one station to another, during the manufacturing process
• Ensure customer requirements and shipping demands are met
• Overtime as needed
• Other duties as assigned
