Job summary

Advanced Powder Products, Inc. is hiring a manufacturing technician to support rapid growth in our advanced metal processing facility. You will operate, repair and maintain equipment used in compounding, injection molding and tooling, while collaborating with engineering to improve processes.

The role requires high attention to detail, safety—conscious behavior, and the ability to work at a faster-than-average pace, with occasional overtime and lifting of up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or 3+ years of manufacturing experience.
• Associates degree in mechanical or electrical engineering desired.
• 5 years of use and repair of manufacturing equipment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office software.
• Able to lift 50 lbs. and maintain safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate, repair, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment (compounding, injection molding and tooling maintenance, HT furnaces, CNC and manual machining).
• Develop more efficient manufacturing processes with engineering support.
• Flex between processes to meet production needs.
• Maintain product tracking, equipment maintenance, and process-change records.
• Ensure customer requirements and shipping demands are met.
• Overtime as needed.
• Assist Facilities Manager with repair and maintenance of facility and infrastructure.
