Job summary

Advanced Powder Products in Philipsburg, PA, is seeking an Advanced Technology Engineer to join our engineering team. This full-time, day-shift role involves hands-on work with CNC mills, molding machines, and testing, and requires a 4-year engineering degree or equivalent.

You will design tooling using SolidWorks and MasterCam, analyze processes with Minitab, and collaborate across disciplines to implement manufacturable technologies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Proficient with Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook; Minitab experience is required.
  • Experience with Solidworks and MasterCam or equivalent modeling software.
  • Experience with polymer compounding, injection molding, sintering, or CNC machining.
  • Team player who can also work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Design tooling, fixtures, and parts using solid modeling software.
  • Operate vertical and CNC mills, surface grinders, molding machines, and furnaces.
  • Research, apply, and implement manufacturable new technologies.
  • Travel to vendors and customers as needed.
  • Ensure safety and quality, following ISO standards.
  • Work independently and drive implementation.

  • Ability to make unknown equipment operational with no previously known knowledge of technology.

  • Ability to travel to vendors ,customers, etc.
  • Must be highly safety conscious.
  • Able to move injection molds.
  • Understanding of testing and analysis theory, with the ability to analyze large amounts of data.
  • Well‑organized, safety‑conscious, and accountable for actions and performance
  • Work performed in a manufacturing environment.
  • Follow the standards of ISO 13485 and ISO 9001 International Standards
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Microsoft Outlook, Minitab Proficient with Microsoft Office products, specifically Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Minitab
  • Experience with Solidworks and MasterCam or equivalent modeling software
