Job summary

Hims & Hers in New Albany, Ohio, is seeking an Operations Manager, Compounding, to lead and optimize the daily operations of the compounding department on-site. You will manage lab managers and technicians, drive continuous improvement, and ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance across all activities.

You will collaborate with QA, QC, and Supply Chain to resolve issues and improve productivity, leveraging Lean/Six Sigma methodologies and robust KPI tracking.

Qualifications

• This role requires 5-7+ years in pharmaceutical compounding or related operations.
• At least 5+ years of leadership in a fast-paced, regulated setting.
• 2+ years implementing OSHA safety standards.
• Technician certification within 8 months of start date.
• Strong knowledge of USP 795/800, cGMP, OSHA and FDA regs.
• Experience with lean, Six Sigma, 5S and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee daily production schedules for compounded products.
• Lead lab managers, tech leads, and technicians with clear direction.
• Drive process optimization using Lean, Six Sigma and 5S.
• Track KPIs on safety, quality, and productivity; generate reports.
• Ensure compliance with USP, FDA, OSHA and other regs.
• Oversee inventory and material handling for hazardous/non-hazardous substances.
• Collaborate with QA, QC, and Supply Chain to resolve issues.
• Perform other duties to support the compounding department.
