You will work hands-on with specialized equipment and detailed instructions to support lay-up, curing, testing, and troubleshooting of complex structures. Required is a high school diploma or equivalent with related experience; an associates degree with 2 years experience is acceptable.

Qualifications

• Understanding of safety rules and regulations, Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement concepts.
• Ability to read and interpret product drawings, work instructions, shop orders, handling instructions, packing sheets and department procedures.
• Ability to effectively present information to supervision, maintenance, engineering or other employees.

Responsibilities

• Produce parts and assemblies using composite fabrication, molding and assembly per instructions.
• Operate equipment including filament winders, ovens, autoclaves, lathes, presses and grinders.
• Perform bonding, curing, testing and troubleshooting of composite structures.
• Coordinate with maintenance and engineers for setup and calibration of equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety per SOPs and participate in preventive maintenance.
