L3Harris Technologies seeks multiple Manufacturing Technicians for our state-of-the-art Advanced Manufacturing Facility North in Huntsville, AL. The roles focus on composite fabrication and assembly of rocket motor hardware, with winding, curing and quality checks in a high-paced production environment.

These positions require a high school diploma or equivalent and 4+ years of related experience or a 2-year post-secondary/associates degree with 0–2 years of experience.

Qualificações

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience.

Responsabilidades

• Perform basic operations on filament winding machines under supervision, with a good understanding of fiber placement and tension control.
• Assist in resin mixing and resin content checks.
• Prepare various components for lay-up, filament winding, cure and post cure using cured and uncured rubber materials and adhesives.
• Operation of various machinery and shop equipment including ovens, autoclaves, lathes, CNC mills and manual equipment.
• Build, clean, and properly store large tooling and inspect finished parts for quality.
