Job summary

L3Harris Technologies, Inc. in Huntsville, AL, seeks a Composite Manufacturing Technician to join our Advanced Manufacturing Facility North. You will produce composite parts and assemblies, operate autoclaves, ovens, CNC centers, and follow detailed work instructions to support inert manufacturing.

This role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent with relevant experience and offers a 3rd shift 4/10 schedule. You must be able to obtain a US security clearance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 6 years relevant experience, or 2 years post-secondary with 2+ years related experience.

Responsibilities

• Produce composite parts, components, and final assemblies using fabrication and curing processes according to detailed work instructions.
• Operate autoclaves, ovens, CNC lathes and milling centers as part of manufacturing and assembly.
• Perform vacuum bagging, bonding, inspection and testing to ensure quality and first-pass yield.
• Support maintenance, set-up/calibration of equipment and participate in preventive maintenance.
• Assist in process improvements and adhere to safety and 5S standards.
