Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or equivalent with 4+ years of related experience, or 2 years post-secondary/2-year degree with 0–2 years experience.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance (U.S. citizenship required) and pass background checks.
• Active U.S. military member with 180 days or fewer remaining before separation and 180+ days of active service (required for DoD SkillBridge).

Responsibilities

• Produce parts, components, and assemblies using composite fabrication and related processes.
• Prepare components for lay-up, cure, and post-cure with materials and adhesives.
• Operate ovens, autoclaves, lathes, milling centers, presses, furnaces, and related shop equipment.
• Fabricate and assemble sub-assemblies with standard tools.
• Perform vacuum bagging and curing of composite parts.
• Provide on-the-job training to technicians as required.
