Northrop Grumman in Clearfield, UT, is seeking a Composite Bonder level 2/3 to join our manufacturing team. The role involves bonding dissimilar materials into finished assemblies, with duties spanning blueprint interpretation, layout, and quality checks.

The position requires 2+ years in composite fabrication or bonding, DoD Secret clearance eligibility, and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds and working in confined spaces.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED with 2+ years in composite fabrication or bonding.
• DoD Secret Security Clearance requirements to start (not always required to apply).
• Ability to perform moderate strenuous physical and repetitious work including lifting up to 50 pounds and working in confined spaces.

Responsabilités

• Read and interpret blueprints.
• Lay out articles, cut parts or materials to size and apply bonding agents.
• Understand ply orientations and vacuum bagging processes.
• Operate autoclave, hydraulic presses and ovens to complete bonding cycles.
• Control conditions of heat, pressure, and timing per material specifications and bonding agent.
• Monitor and verify quality of finished product and complete repairs as needed.
