Northrop Grumman’s Aeronautics Systems in Clearfield, UT, seeks a Composite Bonder Level 2/3 to join the operations team, bonding dissimilar materials into finished products using autoclaves, presses and ovens.

The role requires blueprint reading, lay out of parts, and strict control of heat, pressure and timing. Two years (level 2) or four years (level 3) of related experience, DoD Secret clearance to start, and ability to work flex shifts are expected.

Competenze

• High School diploma or GED with 2+ years in composite bonding or fabrication.
• DoD Secret Security Clearance required to start (some programs require it).
• Must perform physically demanding tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to access small spaces and work in enclosed environments.

Mansioni

• Read and interpret blueprints and lay out articles and materials.
• Bond dissimilar materials using liquid or solid bonding agents.
• Understand ply orientations and vacuum bagging processes.
• Operate autoclave, hydraulic presses and ovens for bonding cycles.
• Control heat, pressure, and timing per material specifications.
• Finish surfaces, apply resins, and verify final product quality.
