Job summary

Lockheed Martin is seeking a Component Engineer to own the end-to-end lifecycle of EEEE components, from selection to failure analysis, ensuring program compliance with customer contracts and internal quality standards.

You will develop qualification tests, review drawings, and coordinate with suppliers and third-party test houses to maintain robust part qualification across programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or related STEM from an accredited university.
• Strong understanding of electronic components, schematics, drawings, and circuit card assembly concepts.
• US citizen; ability to obtain DoD security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end lifecycle of EEEE components: selecting, qualifying, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Develop and maintain Component Source Control Drawings (SCDs) and baseline drawings.
• Evaluate suppliers and approve qualified vendors for EEEE parts.
• Review engineering drawings and documentation for subcontractor components.
• Develop component qualification test plans and manage third-party test houses.
• Research PCN and obsolescence impacts on programs.
• Lead or support PMP board fault analysis in the EEEE domain.
