Job description

Ourlarge cryptocompany is looking for a contract Compliance Analyst. This is a fully remote role.

Contract Duration : 5-Months

Required Skills & Experience

• Prior experience in transaction monitoring and screening within the financial services industry.
• Developed or tuned Transaction Monitoring scenarios or configured Screening systems.
• Strong knowledge of AML (Anti-Money Laundering) regulations and compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in Python and Advanced SQL: scripting for data manipulation and integration, and advanced querying techniques.
• Experience with Apache Airflow: building, deploying, and optimizing DAGs.
• Experience with GitHub: version control, branching, and collaboration.
• Data engineering experience, capable of manipulating large datasets.
• Ability to translate complex requests into clear requirements.
• Effective workload management, prioritizing ad-hoc requests and BAU tasks.
• Maintaining and updating documentation related to Infrastructure and Integrations for TM & Screening Systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Quick learner and hands-on team player.

Desired Skills & Experience

• Interest or prior experience in Crypto industry.
• Experience investigating and analyzing suspicious transactions.

What You Will Be Doing

Daily Responsibilities

• Supporting daily activities and strategic projects related to Transaction Monitoring System (TMS) or Screening.
• Developing and enhancing transaction monitoring and screening models, including scenario creation, testing, tuning, and deployment.
• Performing reviews of monitoring and screening process effectiveness.
• Building or improving systems for automation of monitoring and alerting.
• Optimizing query performance for fast data retrieval.
• Creating metrics, reports, and dashboards related to TM / Screening.
• Issue triage, root cause analysis, and remediation.
• Managing daily BAU activities such as initiating technical jobs and Jira requests.
• Collaborating with Compliance, Risk, Data Science, and Investigations teams to ensure AML compliance.
