We Are Hiring
  • Department: AP StraTech Imaging Rad

  • Schedule: 8 hour shift, Monday-Friday

  • Location: Remote

What You Will Do

Characteristics:

Looking for a self-motivated individual that can create a plan of work and follow it through to completion while working with Ascension Technologies and our clinical partners. This person is adaptable, has strong collaboration skills, able to influence others, presents with positivity, and is well spoken.

Work Schedule:

Monday through Friday, between the hours of 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM CST (some flexibility in arranging start/stop times with direct report). Weekends, evenings or nights as part of a team on-call schedule required to provide remote clinical support for urgent issues.

Key responsibilities:

  • Establish trust and build strong relationships with technical, clinical, and vendor partners.
  • Acknowledge customer problems by listening, clarifying, and responding effectively.
  • Manage customer expectations and ensure prompt and complete customer service.
  • Able to communicate with various levels of users within the organization.
  • Able to troubleshoot most application problems independently.
  • Ability to write fundamental documentation in a clear, concise manner and according to standards.
  • Share knowledge effectively within the working team.
  • Willing and able to learn new technology applications and workflows.
  • Ability to identify and document a problem that displays the importance and relevance for the health system.
  • Willing to take the team on-call on a rotating basis.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Minimum of 5 years experience with Hemo and EKG applications.
  • Knowledge in supporting Merge Hemo, Change Healthcare Hemo, GE ComboLab/CardioLab, Philips XIMS, Baxter Cardio Server, GE Muse and Philips IECG.
  • Knowledge and experience with analyzing HL7 and billing DFT messages.
  • Understanding of integration between Hemo applications and bedside monitoring devices.
  • Knowledge of networking between hardware and software and Active Directory domain structure.
  • Knowledge and experience in writing SQL queries.
  • Knowledge in Merge UDR reporting.

What You Will Need

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
