ABOUT THE JOB:

The Compliance & Licensing Specialist is responsible for maintaining accurate and current title, registration, and occupational licenses to prevent business interruptions. This role interacts regularly with regulatory agencies such as the Department of Motor Vehicles, Licensing Boards, and Departments of Housing, varying by jurisdiction.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
  • Obtaining and maintaining necessary business and salesperson occupational licenses without lapses or restrictions.
  • Ensuring all assets are properly titled, registered, and certificated according to laws, policies, and agreements.
  • Monitoring, auditing, and storing contract documents and customer acceptance records.
  • Preparing and submitting documentation for license renewals, new licenses, and title applications.
  • Supporting salespersons and qualifiers in license renewals and updates.
  • Maintaining procedures manuals and training team members.
  • Retitling assets and modifying licenses due to mergers or acquisitions.
  • Communicating licensing procedures to customers, agencies, and branch personnel.
  • Responding to inquiries and conducting audits of order acceptance processes.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School Diploma/GED required; an Associate Degree is preferred.
  • At least 1+ years of clerical experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Preferred skills include knowledge of accounting, experience with asset registration or licensing, and proficiency in Salesforce and SAP.
