Job summary

American International Group, Inc. is seeking a Complex Claims Director – TPA Oversight to lead analysis and management of high-exposure General Liability and Auto claims.

You will guide independent adjusters, assess coverage and liability, and drive cost-effective resolutions with strong negotiation and communication skills. The role requires advanced analytical abilities, experience with ADR/mediations, and collaboration with underwriting and governance teams.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of General Liability/Auto claims experience.
• Experience with complex and high exposure General Liability Bodily Injury and Property Damage claims.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal/written) and strong negotiation skills.
• Advanced analytical and problem solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and process bodily injury and third-party property damage claims by investigating and gathering information to determine exposure.
• Direct independent adjusters to gather information and control costs; determine coverage and liability.
• Assess liability, maintain diaries, and manage reserves with clear documentation and action plans.
• Attend arbitrations, mediations, settlement conferences and trials.
