Job summary

American International Group (AIG) is seeking a Complex Claim Director focused on Employment Practices Liability (EPL). You will lead complex EPL claims from inception to resolution, including coverage determinations, investigations, reserves, and strategy development.

Collaborate with defense counsel and underwriting to deliver superior service to clients. The role demands strong negotiation, exceptional communication, and deep knowledge of litigation/arbitration processes.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience handling complex insurance claims, litigation or related work.
• Juris Doctor is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle all aspects of complex Employment Practices Liability claims from inception through resolution.
• Make coverage determinations and investigate losses while evaluating exposures.
• Present cases, set reserves, and develop resolution strategies.
• Collaborate with defense counsel, underwriting, and distribution partners to deliver value.
