American International Group (AIG) seeks a seasoned Complex Director for Mass Tort and Complex Casualty to lead sophisticated claims and coverage analyses. You will work with top claims and underwriting professionals to handle long-tail exposures, environmental and toxic tort issues, and evolving risk scenarios.

You will evaluate coverage, hire counsel as needed, and advise on product changes and emerging risks, with a focus on delivering strong outcomes for insureds and clients.

Formación

• 6+ years of Legal, Insurance, Construction Defect or Environmental experience preferred.
• Ability to handle complex claims involving diverse coverage issues related to GL and Environmental policies.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills, along with excellent communication, negotiation and investigation skills.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate coverage on sophisticated insurance products and formulate strategies for favorable claim resolution.
• Hire and manage counsel to help evaluate coverage and defend our insureds.
• Assess damages with support of outside experts and determine financial impact to AIG and insureds.
• Formulate and execute strategies for favorable claim resolution; negotiate with insureds and third parties.
• Advise business partners concerning exposures and potential product changes and enhancements.
• Advise claims and business leaders on emerging risks.
