JPMorganChase is seeking a Compensation Vice President to lead compensation strategy and execution for select clients. You will be a strategic advisor to the business and HR partners, blending compensation principles with market insights and detailed analyses.

In this role you will advise on offers, promotions, transfers, budgeting and talent retention; analyze issues, present findings to senior management; and translate governance into clear client guidance.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years relative HR/Compensation or Finance experience with analytical/data management skills.
  • Self-starter in a fast-paced environment, capable of independent work.
  • Advanced Excel skills and ability to present complex data to leaders.

Responsibilities

  • Support and advise on compensation activities including offers, promotions, transfers, budgeting and talent retention.
  • Analyze business challenges, identify root causes, propose solutions.
  • Perform complex analyses and present findings to senior management.
  • Provide guidance to influence compensation practices and partner with HR.
  • Collaborate with HR partners to improve compensation programs and processes.
  • Monitor market conditions to ensure competitive pay plans.
  • Translate governance requirements into clear client guidance.
  • Participate in firm-wide compensation projects and system changes.
