Job summary

stbancorp is seeking a Compensation Analyst to support compensation programs and payroll operations across multiple locations. The role focuses on accurate payroll processing, data-driven pay analyses, and compliance with wage and hour laws.

You will collaborate with HR, Finance, and business leaders to ensure equitable pay practices and alignment with regulatory requirements. A four-year degree and 2–5 years of relevant experience are expected, with certification preferences noted.

Qualifications

  • Requires a four-year degree or equivalent. HR, business, finance, accounting, economics, or related field preferred.
  • Two to five years of experience in compensation analysis, payroll administration, HR analytics, or related role.
  • Experience with HRIS and payroll systems (Workday, ADP, UKG, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle, etc.).
  • Experience with compensation surveys and market pricing preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze compensation data and market trends to support competitive pay practices.
  • Process payroll accurately and timely; audit payroll transactions and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Generate recurring and ad hoc payroll and compensation reports; maintain data integrity in HRIS.
  • Support job evaluations, grading, salary structure administration, and year-end processes.
