Job summary

Associated Bank is seeking a Senior Compensation Analyst to shape compensation programs that attract, retain, and reward talent. You will partner with HR, Finance, Risk, Legal, and business lines to deliver data-driven compensation strategies, incentive plan design, and governance support, expanding expertise in Total Rewards.

You will influence enterprise-wide programs and collaborate across functions to ensure competitive pay practices and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years of experience administering and analyzing compensation programs.
• Experience developing financial models, market analyses, and compensation recommendations.
• Strong analytical, project management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working with compensation systems and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Analyze compensation programs, market data, and financial models to support competitive, equitable pay practices.
• Partner with HR Business Partners and leaders to provide compensation guidance and recommendations.
• Develop incentive compensation analyses, financial models, and scenario planning.
• Manage compensation data, reporting, and system administration across platforms such as Workday and Payfactors.
• Coordinate annual compensation planning activities including salary, bonus, equity, and incentive processes.
• Prepare governance materials and committee presentations, supporting compliance and risk management.
• Collaborate with Finance, Legal, Risk, HR, and business stakeholders to implement compensation initiatives and improvements.
