Job summary

Epiroc in Garland, Texas, seeks a Compensation Manager for the USA and Canada to govern compensation programs, salary structures, incentives, and benchmarking. You will partner with HR, Finance, ICB, and leaders to ensure market competitiveness and internal equity while maintaining compliance.

The role requires 7+ years in compensation, advanced Excel, HRIS experience, and English fluency; French is a plus for Canada coordination. This is a full-time on-site position based in Garland/US.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, finance, economics, statistics, or related field.
• 7+ years of compensation/total rewards experience, preferably US/Canada.
• Experience in a large company with global and regional compensation structures.
• Experience in a complex, highly matrixed environment.
• Strong knowledge of compensation practices, job evaluation, salary structures, market pricing, incentive programs, annual salary review cycles, and internal equity analysis.
• Knowledge of pay equity, pay transparency, wage and hour, and local reporting requirements.
• Experience conducting market benchmarking, analyzing compensation data, and translating insights into business decisions.
• Experience improving compensation processes, implementing controls, documenting procedures, and supporting transformation initiatives.
• Experience supporting audits, internal controls, compliance reviews, governance routines, and remediation plans.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with HRMS, market survey platforms, case management, or ticketing systems is preferred.
• Fluent English; French is an asset for Canada coordination.

Responsibilities

• Manage compensation governance and operations for USA/CAN, ensuring compliant practices.
• Maintain compensation structures, salary ranges, incentive programs, and related processes.
• Oversee annual salary review and merit cycle, including benchmarking, budgeting, approvals, and communication.
• Partner with ICB on salary surveys for USA/CAN.
• Provide guidance on offers, promotions, salary adjustments, and job leveling.
• Serve as process owner for compensation documentation and data quality.
