Perplexity is hiring a Compensation Lead to design and run the company’s compensation function, from program design to day-to-day execution. You’ll align market data with business goals and manage offers, raises, and equity decisions with clear guidance and governance.

You will build scalable processes, partner with People and Finance, and ensure compensation practices are competitive, transparent, and compliant while protecting employee data and privacy.

Qualificações

• Experience building compensation programs and frameworks with limited infrastructure.
• Hands-on pricing and market benchmarking experience.
• Ability to run compensation reviews and make recommendations with budget and equity in mind.
• Proven ability to influence leadership and negotiate trade-offs.

Responsabilidades

• Build the compensation foundation across the organization.
• Own day-to-day compensation decisions including offers, promotions, and pay adjustments.
• Design and run compensation reviews with calendar, models, and approvals.
• Inform leadership decisions with cost/impact analyses and trade-offs.
• Identify pay inequities and address inconsistencies across teams/locations.
• Build scalable processes and decision records for compensation programs.
• Own data, benchmarking resources, and reporting with secure handling of information.
