Job summary

La-Z-Boy Incorporated in Monroe, MI is seeking a Total Rewards Analyst to support compensation programs and sales incentive initiatives. This role partners with HRBPs, Payroll, and Retail Leadership to analyze pay practices and implement improvements, with a focus on accuracy and reporting.

You will help consolidate data, generate monthly commission reports, and document processes. The position offers a structured environment, competitive benefits, and opportunities to contribute to POS and HRIS

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Finance, Business or related field with 0-2 years of relevant experience or equivalent
• Highly proficient in Excel
• Experience working with large data sets
• High attention to detail
• Curiosity to understand the story behind numbers
• Ability to maintain confidential data and meet strict deadlines
• Up to 5% travel

Responsibilities

• Collaboration with HRBPs and Payroll: Partner with HRBPs and Payroll to analyze data for commission, bonus, and incentive programs.
• Data Analysis for Insights: Analyze pay structures and compensation data to provide actionable recommendations for improving compensation frameworks and reporting.
• Discrepancy Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve discrepancies in compensation data with Total Rewards, Payroll, and HRBPs.
• Commission Reporting: Generate and review monthly commission reports for Total Rewards and Retail Leadership; create process docs, audit reports, and ad hoc reports.
• Compensation Support: Field compensation inquiries from employees via HRIS and resolve questions per pay plans and philosophy.
• System Improvements: Support POS reporting systems and HRIS configurations for accuracy and reporting needs.
• Special Projects: Undertake assignments to support compensation processes.
