Citizens Energy Group is seeking a Compensation Analyst to design, administer, and improve pay practices. You will lead salary structures, market pricing, equity analysis, and reporting to support talent decisions and governance.

The role partners with HR, Finance, and business leaders to deliver data-driven insights and maintain compliant, competitive compensation programs. Hybrid schedule and strong benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, finance, economics, statistics, or related field.
• Five+ years experience in compensation, total rewards, HR analytics, finance, or related analytical role.
• Experience with market pricing, compensation surveys, benchmark matching, salary structures, job evaluation, and compensation recommendations.
• Strong analytical skills to evaluate internal equity, external competitiveness, pay trends, workforce costs, and business impacts.
• Advanced Excel skills (formulas, lookups, pivot tables, data validation, scenario analysis).
• Experience using HRIS, compensation management systems, survey platforms, or reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Leads development and maintenance of salary structures, pay grades, ranges, and compensation guidelines.
• Conducts market pricing using salary surveys, benchmark data, and tools.
• Analyzes internal equity, external competitiveness, compression, span of control, and pay trends.
• Prepares compensation recommendations for hires, promotions, transfers, market adjustments, and retention.
• Develops compensation models and cost analyses for planning and leadership decisions.
• Maintains compensation documentation for audit readiness.
• Reviews positions for classification, grading, and FLSA alignment.
