Job summary

Morgan Stanley's Rewards & Analytics team is seeking a Compensation Associate to support the Investment Banking Division (IBD) and Global Capital Markets (GCM). This role blends traditional compensation execution with the expectation to automate, modernize, and scale how insights are delivered.

You will handle mid-year and year-end salary and bonus processes, conduct market analyses, support forecasting and reporting, and prepare senior management exhibits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in analytical discipline.
• 2–6 years of experience in Compensation, HR Analytics, HR Strategy, or a related analytical role.
• Advanced Excel, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Interest in automation, AI, and data-driven decision making.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python, Snowflake, or similar tools is a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Support both mid-year and year-end salary and bonus processes.
• Conduct compensation modeling, benchmarking, and market analyses.
• Support compensation forecasting, budgeting, and reporting.
• Prepare senior management exhibits and presentations.
• Analyze compensation and workforce trends to develop actionable insights.
• Partner with HR Partners and business leaders on compensation-related initiatives.
• Support strategic workforce compensation needs and ad hoc business analyses.
