Job summary
Sentara Health in Norfolk, VA seeks a Compensation Specialist to partner with HR, Talent Acquisition, and business leaders. You will support offer development, market pricing, and internal equity reviews, translating complex data into actionable recommendations and assisting with annual compensation processes through data validation, auditing, and reporting.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, finance, analytics, or related field.
- 2+ years in compensation analysis, market pricing, and internal equity reviews.
- Experience supporting offer analysis and compensation recommendations.
- Strong Excel skills (formulas, lookups, pivots) and data analysis.
- Experience with HRIS and compensation planning tools (Workday & MarketPay preferred).
Responsibilities
- Conduct foundational to moderately complex compensation analyses.
- Support offer development, market pricing, and equity reviews.
- Audit and validate data for annual compensation processes.
- Create clear, actionable recommendations for HR and business partners.
- Help improve compensation processes, tools, and documentation.
