Job summary

Mitsubishi Corporation (Americas) is expanding its compensation program and seeks an experienced Compensation Analyst to analyze, administer, and design compensation programs for MCA and subsidiaries. You will support the VP, Human Resources with advisory services and cross-divisional collaboration.

The role interfaces with senior and middle management to drive accurate job descriptions, classification, equity analyses, and incentive processes. A hybrid New York location is expected.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills using qualitative and quantitative data.

• Experience with HRIS systems (Dayforce a plus).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain job descriptions for each position in the organization.
• Conduct outreach to departments according to the compensation schedule to ensure descriptions reflect current roles.
• Interview managers and employees to gather and document job information.
• Assess jobs to determine exempt vs non-exempt classifications.
• Benchmark jobs against surveys and market data to set competitive pay ranges.
• Advise managers on pay decisions in line with policy and guidelines.
• Develop and maintain job descriptions and job architecture system.
• Analyze market data and internal leveling for equity.
• Participate in compensation surveys and market research.
