Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Compensation Analyst to design, analyze, and administer compensation programs. You will serve as the analytical backbone of the Compensation Team and ensure external market data integrity and smooth annual planning processes.

You will handle salary survey submissions, market pricing support, and data-driven recommendations while partnering with Talent Acquisition and Benefits to align offers and internal equity.

Qualifications

• BS Degree in Human Resources Management or a relevant discipline required.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in Compensation, financial analysis, or related experience preferred.
• CCP certification is preferred.
• Ability to manage projects of varying complexity.
• Attention to detail.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Highly analytical; ability to leverage and analyze data.

Responsibilities

• Accountability for the salary survey submission process
• Tracking surveys and due dates
• Preparing compensation profile, position matches and data compilation for salary survey submission
• Supporting the annual market pricing process; analyze salary survey results for market competitiveness and pay-related programs
• Making recommendations based on data and analysis
• Supporting the job evaluation process by conducting job description evaluations
• Place/slot jobs within the system compensation structure for external market competitiveness and internal equity
• Build and maintain the annual compensation calendar
• Partner with the compensation team on key projects and milestones
• Collaborate with Benefits & Retirement to identify overlaps and synergies
• Conduct market analysis for individual employees/titles and develop pay adjustment recommendations
• Work with Talent Acquisition to develop candidate offers
• Be point of contact for MSP requests
• Respond to inquiries and collaborate with the compensation team
• Compile, analyze, interpret and/or process data to support HR needs including union negotiations, bonuses, transfers, and mass pay rate adjustments
• Perform special projects and ad-hoc research to guide current and future Compensation programs
