Petco is seeking a Veterinary Technician to support Vetco Total Care full-service hospital patients and their owners. You will work closely with veterinarians to deliver high-quality medical care, assist during procedures, and contribute to a compassionate, efficient hospital environment.

Ideal candidates will have a credentialed veterinary technician credential, at least one year of experience, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Must have 1+ year experience as a Veterinary Technician.
• Credentialed Veterinary Technician required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and obtain patient history; document in EMR.
• Assist veterinarian with appointments, surgery, dentistry and euthanasia.
• Handle samples and medications; maintain medical records.
• Schedule appointments and educate clients; manage accounts receivable.
