Midlothian Animal Clinic is seeking an enthusiastic receptionist to join our established team. You will manage a multi-line phone system, greet clients with a warm, professional attitude, and ensure smooth daily operations across scheduling, records, and payments.

We value compassionate care, clear communication, and the ability to multitask in a busy veterinary setting. Weekend availability and a collaborative attitude are preferred as part of a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced front-desk role.
• Strong verbal and written communication to interact with clients and teammates.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a busy veterinary clinic environment.
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Familiarity with veterinary software is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Be the Director of First Impressions: manage a multi-line phone system, greet clients, reflect compassionate care.
• Ensure seamless care coordination: maintain records, manage appointments, handle payments.
• Advocate for pet health: educate clients on preventative care and hospital services.
• Embody compassion and empathy: provide a calming presence and respectful client interactions.
