Job summary

PetVet Care Centers’ Brookfield Pet Hospital in Fountain Valley, CA seeks a Care Coordinator to join our team as Veterinary Receptionist. You will perform administrative tasks, manage appointments, assist clients, and support the hospital’s daily operations with a focus on compassionate service.

As a full-time team member, you will handle data entry, billing, retail interactions, and basic pet-related inquiries while contributing to a culture of care across the hospital network.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, or equivalent education/experience.
• Applicants must be 18 years or older.
• Knowledge of clerical procedures such as filing and records management.
• Ability to provide great customer service in a courteous, prompt manner.
• Ability to perform cashier duties accurately.

Responsibilities

• Provides excellent customer service in-person, over the phone, and under stress.
• Manages lobby flow, schedules appointments, and addresses concerns.
• Handles basic medical emergencies for pets and owners as needed.
• Assists with medication pickups and service inquiries.
• Inputs data in practice management software including billing.
• Assists with retail sales, weighing pets, and maintaining records.
• Reconciles cash drawer and performs end-of-day duties.
