Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year experience in a veterinary environment.
• May consider an equivalent combination of education, certification, training, and/or experience.
• Maintains current knowledge in the field and seeks opportunities for continuing education.
• Ability to restrain animals and monitor sedation procedures.
• Flexible scheduling including some weekends/holidays.
• Physically capable of lifting and standing for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care to all patients.
• Greet clients and owners, record weights and vital signs.
• Assist veterinarians and technicians with medications and restraints.
• Calm and soothe anxious patients.
• Perform lab tests and take radiographs.
• Maintain hospital equipment, kennels, and cleanliness.
