Prisma Health is seeking a Hybrid Unit Secretary / Patient Care Tech to perform unit secretary tasks and assist with basic nursing assistant duties across a pediatric unit. The role requires collaboration with licensed staff and adherence to hospital policies and safety standards.

The position supports patient care by handling administrative tasks, data entry, inventory, and patient flow, while also providing direct patient care as delegated by the RN.

Qualifications

• Completion of a nursing assistant or related course preferred.
• Experience in hospital or unit secretary roles is a plus.
• Ability to perform basic nursing assistant tasks under supervision.

Responsabilités

• Provide unit secretary duties and general reception at nurse’s station.
• Assist patients with daily activities and comfort measures as directed by RN.
• Document patient information and vital data in EMR per unit policy.
• Support nursing staff with supply management and unit organization.
