Job summary

Americare Senior Living is seeking a dependable Transportation Aide to safely transport residents to appointments, activities, and other approved destinations. You will assist residents entering and exiting vehicles and provide attentive, compassionate care during trips.

The role requires a high school diploma, CNA certification, and a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. You must be at least 20 years old and able to lift and move residents as needed, while following HIPAA and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 20 years of age.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required.
• Valid, unrestricted driver’s license.
• Acceptable driving record in accordance with company policy.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate facility vehicles to transport residents to and from scheduled destinations.
• Assist residents with entering and exiting vehicles, including mobility and safety support.
• Provide supervision and attentive care to residents during transport.
• Maintain a courteous, respectful, and compassionate demeanor at all times.
• Ensure resident safety by following transportation and safety protocols.
• Communicate effectively with nursing staff regarding resident needs or concerns.
• Maintain cleanliness and basic safety checks of assigned vehicle.
• Protect resident confidentiality and comply with HIPAA guidelines.
• Represent Americare positively when interacting with residents, families, and community partners.
