Job summary
Creative Solutions in Healthcare in Texas is seeking a Transportation Aide - PRN to safely transport residents to medical appointments, therapy sessions, and activities while providing attentive care. You will assist with mobility, monitor vitals when needed, and report any changes promptly.
The role requires a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and a Texas Nursing Assistant Certification. You will also complete the DMV check and participate in the Employee Driver Proficiency
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Texas Nursing Assistant Certification on file.
- Minimum age 25 due to insurance requirements.
- Pass DMV check and qualify for company insurance.
- Complete Employee Driver Proficiency program.
- Strong communication and patient care skills.
- Comfortable with caregiving and safe car operation.
Responsibilities
- Safely transport residents to appointments, therapy, and activities.
- Monitor safety and comfort during transport.
- Observe and report changes in residents’ condition.
- Assist residents with mobility and transfers using devices and proper technique.
- Record vitals when needed during transport.
- Support the caregiving team with CNA duties when not transporting.
