Job summary

Americare Senior Living is seeking a dependable Transportation Aide to safely transport residents to appointments and activities. You will assist residents in boarding and exiting vehicles and provide supportive, compassionate care throughout each trip.

This role requires a High School diploma or equivalent, at least 20 years old, and CNA certification. The position is full-time, with competitive compensation and benefits, and daily pay options available where offered by Americare.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum age of 20 years.
• CNA certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate facility vehicles to transport residents to and from scheduled destinations.
• Assist residents with entering and exiting vehicles, including mobility and safety support.
• Provide supervision and attentive care to residents during transport.
• Maintain a courteous, respectful, and compassionate demeanor at all times.
• Ensure resident safety by following transportation and safety protocols.
• Communicate with nursing staff regarding resident needs or concerns.
• Maintain cleanliness and basic safety checks of the vehicle.
• Protect resident confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
