Job summary

McLean Care Center seeks a dependable Transportation Aide – CNA to ensure residents are transported safely to appointments and activities while receiving compassionate care. The role requires professionalism, strong patient care skills, and adherence to safe driving practices.

The Transportation Aide will also assist with CNA duties in the facility when not transporting, monitor resident comfort, and report any changes in condition promptly.

Qualifications

• Requires a valid Nursing Assistant Certification in Texas.
• Must have a clean driving record and be able to pass DMV checks.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license and complete the Employee Driver Proficiency program.
• Strong communication and caregiving skills are essential.
• Ability to assist with mobility and monitor residents during transport.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport residents to and from appointments, therapy, and activities.
• Ensure resident comfort and safety during transport.
• Observe residents for changes and report concerns promptly.
• Assist with mobility and proper technique during transfers.
• Record vitals when needed during transport.
• Support CNA duties in the facility when not transporting.
