Job summary

foundationpartners is seeking a Transfer Care Specialist in California to serve as the families' main contact, coordinating the transfer of decedents to our funeral home. The role requires compassion, composure, and a clean driving record. You will handle paperwork precisely and be ready to work nights and weekends as needed.

Must be 21+, able to lift 100 lbs, and possess a valid driver's license. Proficiency with Microsoft Office is preferred to manage cases and schedules.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Able to lift 100 lbs safely.
• Valid state driver's license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Welcome families and coordinate transfer of the decedent from nursing homes, hospitals, residences, or coroner's offices to the funeral home.
• Transport decedents safely using appropriate routes and GPS/direction tools.
• Be available for irregular hours, nights and weekends; substitute for funeral attendants and drivers as needed.
• Ensure paperwork is completed accurately and on time per applicable laws and regulations.
• Receive and execute multiple tasks efficiently and in the correct order.
