Responsibilities include safe transport, on-call availability, and meticulous paperwork. You must hold a valid CA driver's license, lift 100 lbs safely, and present a professional demeanor at all times. Training will emphasize regulatory compliance and respectful service.

Qualifications

• Valid state-issued driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 100 lbs safely; knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Composure and compassion.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and receive/apply constructive feedback with a positive attitude.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective internal and external work processes.

Responsibilities

• Serve as families' first point of contact, coordinating transfer of the decedent to the funeral home.
• Safely transport decedents using approved methods and navigate roads with GPS/direction apps.
• Be available for irregular hours, on-call shifts, nights and weekends as needed.
• Ensure all paperwork is completed correctly and timely per laws and regulations.
• Receive and implement task instructions efficiently while prioritizing safety and respect.
• Maintain professional appearance and be prepared for additional duties as needed (e.g., vehicle washing).
