Job summary

Bienvivir All-Inclusive Senior Health in El Paso, TX, seeks a Driver to provide safe transport for PACE participants between homes, centers, and medical sites. The role requires bilingual English/Spanish communication, adherence to IDT instructions, and careful use of mobility aids and equipment.

Responsibilities include assisting participants with mobility, documenting incidents, and performing vehicle safety checks. A valid Texas driver’s license, CPR, and a high school diploma are required.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Spanish required to effectively communicate with participants and families.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a valid Texas driver’s license (Class C).
• Must meet Bienvivir/PACE driving eligibility standards and a clean driving record.
• CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport Bienvivir/PACE participants between residences, the center, and medical appointments.
• Navigate routes using company-issued navigation tools and follow MDT/IDT instructions.
• Assist participants with mobility in and out of vehicles, including wheelchair lifts and securement systems.
• Provide supportive care, check in with participants, and ensure required durable medical equipment is available.
• Document incidents or observations and communicate safety concerns to supervisors.
• Perform daily vehicle safety inspections and maintain clean, safe vehicles and equipment.
