Job summary

Bienvivir All-Inclusive Senior Health is seeking a Driver to provide safe, reliable transportation for PACE participants between residences, centers, and medical appointments.

Under the Transportation Supervisor, you will assist participants with mobility, manage equipment, and coordinate with the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT). A valid Texas driver’s license, 21+ years old, and bilingual skills are required.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and electronic instructions.
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with staff and Participants.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish, as required to communicate with participants and families.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport Bienvivir/PACE participants between residence, center, and medical appointments.
• Navigate routes using company navigation tools and follow MDT/IDT instructions.
• Assist participants with entering/exiting vehicles, including wheelchair lifts and securement systems.
• Support participants with mobility needs in a respectful and professional manner.
• Ensure participants have required DME when boarding and exiting the vehicle and manage oxygen tanks as needed.
• Assist with transporting medications, medical supplies, and equipment and obtain signatures for deliveries.
• Assist with participant check-in or registration at medical offices as required.
• Report concerns, incidents, or vehicle issues to supervisor and follow safety procedures.
• Maintain daily vehicle safety inspections and proper use of safety equipment.
• Provide transportation outside regular hours as scheduled (evenings/weekends/holidays).
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisory staff.
